Minister for Housing, Jay Ebanks, was in North Side on Friday morning to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony in connection with the new affordable housing scheme in North Side.
As previously reported by Loop Cayman, the scheme is promoted by the National Housing Development Trust (NHDT), an entity owned by the Cayman Islands Government and whose mandate is to assist low-income families to realize their dreams of home ownership.
The North Side scheme will be located near Craddock Ebanks Civic Centre and will feature forty something homes.
