The NHDT is a government owned not-for-profit company, registered under section 80 of the Cayman Islands Companies Act (2002 revision) to provide the following initiatives for the benefit of the people of Grand Cayman:
As a Government entity the trust is guided by the registered Articles of Association, subject to the Public Management and Finance Act and the Public Authorities Act (2017 revision).
We will work with respect, knowledge and confidence to fulfil our duties to our Colleagues, Partners and Guests, while embracing diversity and sustainability.
We will account for our actions, accept individual and team responsibilities and disclose results irrespective of the outcome.
We will be dedicated to our team, its mission, vision and strategy, our guests and the Cayman community.
To identify the housing needs of low to middle income Caymanians and to proceed with the processing of future development of affordable home that will contribute to the economic development of the Cayman Islands.
